UKTA 50th Anniversary Ball

On the 2nd July 1967, FIrst Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha introduced Taekwon-​do into the United Kingdom and the UKTA was formed.

In 2017 we celebrate a momentous milestone in our history.

To mark this special occasion, we are holding our 50th Anniversary Celebratory Summer Ball on Saturday 1st July 2017 at:-

As many will be aware Coventry is where FGMR held the very first Taekwon-​do classes and marks the birthplace of UK Taekwon-​do. it is centrally located for guests driving from the north of England and Wales, and easily reached by air via Birmingham and East Midlands airports.

The day will start with a Technical Seminar conducted by our Grandmasters and Senior Masters, open to all grades.

Also during the day, a UKTA select National Demonstration Team led by Master Andrew Whiteley will perform for our guests.

In the evening, all members are invited to attend out Summer Ball which constists of a dinner dance with pre-​dinner entertainment and the post dinner party entertainment in the form of a band, with the party going on unitl 1 am.

The ticket cost for the event is just £35 per person.

All attendees at the Summer Ball dinner dance are invited to attend the Granmasters Seminar during the day FREE of charge.

Anyone wishing to attend the Seminar only, the cost for 3 hours of training is just £30.
