COURSE INFORMATION

Instructor
Master Andy Whiteley F-7-1, a former international competitor for Great Britain from 1990, graduated from the ITF special course at the Moscow University Olympic Training Centre, Russia 1992, and continued a successful competitive career at National, European and World class level until 1998.  He then progressed to coaching teams and individuals for ITF England towards further national and international success completing a career total of 15 European Championships, 10 World and as many Home Internationals.  His personal competitive career culminated in 2006 at the Veteran World Championships in Bulgaria reaching both individual pattern and power test finals.

A Combat Hall of Fame Awards Winner in 2001, he made presentations to HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh during the Golden Jubilee year in 2002, and HRH Princess Anne during the official opening of Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in 2004.

Although travelling regularly between the UK and France since 2004, he continues to promote Taekwon-Do in Thames Valley and Surrey.  More recently, as Technical Director for ITF France since 2007, he works towards the development of Taekwon-Do within the Segala region of the Midi Pyrenees where he and his family are now based.

With great attention to detail and powerful technique he offers an energetic and professional approach to all aspects of Taekwon-Do training. Course participants should be inspired within the environment provided to increase individual skills and experience at all levels of ability.

Transportation                                                                                                                     
Personal arrangements are to be made within the UK. Transportation within France to and from Rodez airport to Rieupeyroux and throughout the duration of the course is inclusive within residential fee.
Destination
Rieupeyroux is located west of Rodez in the Aveyron Midi Pyrenees region of France. Situated 750m altitude this small town offers excellent facilities for a wide variety of sports training all within walking distance of the accommodation provided.

The residential course fee offers evening meal on arrival plus 4 nights accommodation inc. breakfast, lunch, and evening meal  over the duration of the course based on 4 people sharing each self contained chalet.
Programme
Participants should be prepared for an intensive training experience within a perfect environment to enhance individual performance at all levels of ability.  The content of the course will include:
Physical Preparation/Flexibility, Patterns/Fundamental Movements, Sparring/Self Defence, Power Test/Special Techniques
